Defibrillator Training - Wednesday 28th August

Shrivenham's Defibrillator – Awareness Training

Please note in your diaries that this year's defibrillator awareness training will be given on Wednesday 28th August at 7pm in the Memorial Hall.  A Community Responder Officer from the South Western Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust will also remind us of cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) procedures.  There will be a chance for practice too.  This invaluable opportunity is for all of us, young, old, experienced first aiders or those wishing to build confidence in these procedures.  No previous knowledge is required.  There might be experiences to share.  The result might be the real situation of saving a life.

Our defibrillator is situated outside the One Stop store in the High Street.  Please take time to read the brief notice adjacent to it.  A second defibrillator has been purchased and is positioned in the telephone kiosk at the entrance to Stallpits Road at the junction with Highworth Road.
